'MOS 28th BIRTHDAY PART 2 w/ DJ HARVEY'

O n October 5 th , after his traditional summer hiatus playing in various exotic locations, the Balearic prince DJ Harvey made his triumphant return to London alongside a dazzling line-up to celebrate 28 years of pioneering dance music with Ministry of Sound. On a cold rainy night in South London, a cosmic disco exploration was happening inside the club. The Menendez Brothers' vintage club brand 'Feelings' hosted room 103. Innovative East-London duo  Payfone and sci-fi obsessed Space Dimension Controller sparked the atmosphere in the central hub of the club with sonic selections, welcoming dance cadets with a formidable mix of electro-funk and astral disco. 'ALFRESCO FESTIVAL 2019'

Over the past 4 years Alfresco has built a reputation as an elite UK festival which carries an unprecedented family atmosphere. The festival has continued to grow in stature and production, and 2019 saw a massive leap forward. At the end of May, the Alfresco crew returned to the stunning backfields of the Hop Farm and yet again transformed the environment into a world of magical dance music escapism. 8 stages and tents spread across the field and into the woods welcomed unrivalled daytime entertainment and hosted some of the world's best DJs. You could take your kids to the Panic Family Circus or become a lyrical genius at Hip Hop karaoke in the day, and rave to the likes of Erol Alkan, Justin Robertson, and Prins Thomas throughout the night. ‘AN EPIC PLEASUREHOOD EXPERIENCE WITH DIMITRI FROM PARIS’ (12/1/19)

Pleasurehood is the new chapter in XOYO’s illustrious clubbing history. The whole new world of entertainment exists in another dimension, across both fabulous dancefloors in the club,  past 9:30pm on Saturday nights. Dubbed as an immersive world of excess and hedonism – it is a place to escape your weekly troubles and be free in a world of your own. Each week, the pleasure dome hosts some of the world’s finest DJs to ignite the party atmosphere, and on the 12 th of January, disco don – Dimitri from Paris was in charge. He was joined at the pleasure party by established XOYO resident – Joshua James, and new kid on the block ‘Tech Support’ – who took control of the Green room all night long.  The XOYO doors acted as a portal to another desirable dimension. "An honest compilation of raw dance music energy.” Spencer Parker is a creative talent who cannot be pinned down. The Croydon-born, Berlin-based artist is regularly found fluidly connecting the dots between pounding house, thumping techno, and dreamy disco; in basements, darkened warehouses, and legendary spaces. He is a seasoned selector who just tries to play good records and sets the standards high for track selection in doing so. His excellence as a selector filtrates into his work as a producer.
